You have a right to opinionate your own mind, but with the Church of Christ, it has absolutely nothing to do with what you are stating. It's a site that is Bible based and its programming follows the same principles as opposed to anything not scriptural.

Please investigate the site of the channel first before throwing the first stone at it. It's a new channel and we must look at it and use our own discretion of this.
 
Perhaps this thread would fit better in the Religious/CCM category, but here goes.

I had run into this site before, and the first thing I noticed was that it was a Church of Christ network. They aren't the raving cult that sdwulfdawg makes them out to be, but many of them do teach things I don't agree with, mainly the attitude that they are the only true Christians and if you don't belong to their denomination you aren't saved. Their biggest problem is trying to make side issues like baptism and instrumental music into issues to separate from other Christians over. Other than that a lot of what they teach is more biblically sound than a lot of what comes out of TBN.

There are still a lot of old line Churches of Christ especially in the South like this, but some are waking up and realizing that they aren't the only true Christians. Max Lucado is a Church of Christ preacher that I definitely admire.

I have seen how they operate FIRST HAND, seeing how they go around treating women as chattel, how sexual abuse is condoned and forgiven, etc. And yes, Andrea Yates is a CERTIFIED whack job.
 
Who's "they"? GBN? They're from the Church of Christ, which has nothing to do with the group Yates was involved in.

So you encountered one religious organization that you thought was disreputable, and now you want to paint all religious organizations with the same brush? There's a word for that: bigotry.

BTW, if you're wanting to throw darts at a religious organization because of Andrea Yates, try the Catholic Church. She was raised Roman Catholic; her "mentor", Micheal Woroniecki, was raised Polish Catholic. Hmmmmm. Sounds fishy to me. But, both renounced their Catholicism, and Woroniecki went as far as to call all religious organizations evil, so your link between GBN and Yates is a non-sequitur.

Im watching now.....

DirecTV said they were gonna carry them last year but i have yet to see them on there....

I wonder why other channels dont stream online in WMP format (Plays the best)
