On my GE Model 7-28800, How can I tell how big is my AM Antenna is

Like an Expample, Both Super Radios has a 200 mm AM Loop Antenna

If you typed an extra "0" on the model number, it would be an original GE Superadio with a 200 mm ferrite bar.

All the GE Superadio models had 200 mm loopsticks.

Your GE 7-28800 radio looks like a thinner, smaller radio than a Superadio. It's hard to tell how large the case is with the picture I saw on EBay.

The best way to find out how big the loopstick is, is to open up the radio and look and measure it.

But a long loopstick isn't everything.

My Panasonic RFB45 is a better performer on MW than my SR radios and it has a smaller loopstick. I've never opened up the radio to see how big it is, but it's probably 140mm or so judging from the size of the radio's case. I also have vintage transistor radios with 180mm and 200mm loopsticks that suck on MW. So the antenna is obviously important, but it's not everything.

I looked at mine again and it just says "Superadio", which leads me to believe that it's a Superadio 1 but the dial goes up to 1700.

Is it an all black plastic case with 'Superadio' in red? It's a Superadio III. They went up to 1700.

Superadio 1's only went up to 1600-1620 or so. The dial topped off at 1600.
