Gem 107.7 Signal Part Two

Hey there...when we were talking about the Gem 107.7 signal a couple of weeks ago, I mentioned that we were putting up a new antenna...well, we have completed some improvements just late Friday night and Saturday afternoon to both 107.7 and our translator for Wilkes-Barre on 95.3. Anyone want to check it out and report back how you're getting the station now? We'd appreciate the input on how you're getting our signal. If you could, please report what town you're in.

Thanks in advance.

As for me here in parsons(wilkes-barre) it sounds fabulous. Both frequencies do.Much improved sir.Thank you from a former oldies 92 listener(great ratings qfm ha ah ha).Is there any chance you could slide a 50's song in there at all from time to time?Worship your station and please put a little life into your disc jockeys.love you guys please keep our oldies on fm.

Only two words: "Holy Crap!"

The signal is extremely strong now, from my home (which is near exit 5 on the Casey Speedway...Highway) to Wilkes-Barre I don't lose your station at all. It is all clear and crisp…much better than it was. Huge improvement and I like it! I only listened to the 107.7 band, so I don't know how the Wilkes-Barre channel is. I always lost both of your stations going past the Pittston Exit (near KRZ) now it stays in. I'm just amazed how great the signal is now. Keep up the great work...and keep playing those oldies!

Hey Ben...

I'm here in Nanticoke (for now). On the cheap boombox, 95.3 is a bit difficult ...but 107.7 sounds great! I'm moving the radio around the house, and I'm actually having a hard time LOSING the signal! I've got a cheap clock radio with an analog tuning dial... 107.7 is PERFECT. It's not even hard to find... I don't have to feel around for it, or accidentally pass by it, or anything. It's right there, loud and clear.

Congratulations, sir :)

Yes, we built out our CP and have used a 2 bay rototiller, and I believe it's half wave spaced. Thanks for the great comments everyone....never get sick of seeing them if you feel you want to add your two cents.

That's what an owner in radio should be like. If there were more "Bens" out there, radio would be a much more exciting place. It's awesome to interact wth an active owner who's primary goal is to put out a great product. And to that, I raise my wine glass. Keep up the good work and never give in.

Hey Ben,

Just to let you know Gem 107.7 comes in loud and clear in Hazleton in my Jeep. Spent the last 3 days riding around a listening. Very few dead spots.

Tony
