Gen X Radio

Would Clear Channel's new 90's format that has hit Louisville and Tulsa, work here particularly on 102.9?

Although its signal is limited, I suggested KXEZ-FM convert to a '90's format in 2005.

So, of course, the station kept playing the same oldies KLUV was playing. ::)

I think it would work on 97.1 and would sell better. Mix 102.9 in Dallas at least has some what decent ratings.

KEGL has been getting decent ratings lately. SELLLLING is another story. It would be an easier change on 102.9 since the music is somewhat similar already. I hiiighly doubt they'd flip KEGL to something that would eat at KDMX. I hop this GenX dies a quicker death than Jammin Oldies or all 80's programming

Unless it's focused on rock, it will.

Hey, we've tried em all here, so why not try this one?

Someone made reference on the Houston board to the thought that when you think Gen X, you think (Alternative) Rock. I am a Gen Xer, and I think that the Rock eliment of 90's music stands up a lot better than (early) 90's pop music. Unless it is Rock heavy, my guess is, it will go the way of the 80's format...

I don't have a HD radio to check if it is still there, but the HD2 of KLIF-FM 93.3 was (is?) 90s oldies "Energy 93.3." There doesn't seem to be any reference on KLIF-FM's website to any HD2 channel...

As long as the EAGLE plays hard rock/heavy metal I'd be happy...although I wish there was another Christian Station like 89.7 that played more of the hard rock/heavy metal genre. 89.7 doesn't seem to be consistent to me

With my new phone I am enjoying Pandara where I have a "Tourniquet" station that plays their songs and other artist like them.
