General Hospital and Rachael Ray in Toledo

There's been some confusion (at least on my part)
abiut whether WTVG/13 planned to run Rachael Ray
at 3 and displace General Hospital.

The answer is no. Despite King World's earlier
announcement, Rachael Ray is going to air in Toledo
at 10 AM, between Regis & Kelly and The View.
General Hospital stays put at 3.

Since WTVG is an ABC o&o, I thought it strange
that they would move General Hospital. ABC
doesn't have the ratings problems that CBS has
with Guiding Light at the same time (although I
hear GL dominates 3 PM in Toledo).

I'm not sure I understand: "we should care WHY" what?

I'm sure this posting doesn't interest anyone outside
northwestern Ohio, but when I saw the station list
for Rachael Ray, and it showed her at 3 PM on WTVG,
my first thought was: This is an ABC o&o! General
Hospital is ABC's highest-rated daytime show, so why
would they move it? If a CBS station put her at 3
and moved Guiding Light, I wouldn't give it a second
thought; that's getting to be fairly routine.

Not knowing if WTVG had planned to put Rachael Ray
at 3, then changed its mind, and not knowing if there
was confusion among Toledo viewers, I put this up
to reassure them that, soap-wise, it's business as usual.
I've done the same thing for people in Nashville, where
the CBS affiliate is making a major overhaul of its daytime
schedule.

As always, if one of my posts (or anybody else's) doesn't
interest you, why don't you avoid it? I don't read every
single post that goes up on this board because I don't
care about some of them.
