General Observations

Just thinking about radio here during the past few months and hear are a couple of observations.

WODS continues to spread more into 80's music, which is a nice welcome. They just introduced more relevant ID's as well.

WZLX is spreading more into 80's metal. That has its pluses and minuses.

WBMX has an excellent overnight show! I really like the radio announcer there!

WFNX I have noticed more recently, although they probably have been doing this all along plays currents along with classics, even if not the technical New Wave stuff that it once thrived on back in the day.

WBOQ has a really awesome playlist!

WXRV continues to do well with its "Independent" position.

WBOS has been improving steadily, and I find myself able to listen to them more now.

WMJX continues to blur the lines of what is "Soft Rock". This week I heard them play In Arms Wide Open-Creed. Quite an unusual selection by them, but a welcome addition none the less.

Thoughts, comments?

As a gold record, With Arms Wide Open is played a large percentage of Mainstream AC's. WMJX is very focused, in my opinion.

Ok, just maybe being so influenced by Boston AC I just had reckoned that it wasn't a standard AC staple at all.
