Besides, the only number we really need to know anyway is 42.

Actually, I feel like the Arthur Dent of radio. Each time I finally start to get somewhere, some damn alien comes in and blows the crud out of my little world. Uh, what page of the guide is that on again?

And they say only nerds and geeks post on internet message boards.

How did you know how old I will be next year?

As for the posting of ratings numbers, that's ridiculous. All people who follow the ratings know that the market is dominated by Sunny 100.1 and Q100. In the last book Sunny had a 12+ rating of 48.3 and Q100 was right behind with 47.6. The only other thing radio geeks like us need to know is the margin of victory in B98.5's vote tally for being voted the best station to listen to at work. The last I heard was B98.5 beat all other stations by 68% to 32%.<P ID="signature">______________

Bad hit of acid most likely.
Either that or he had a most excellent agent!

Mr. Braswell, while I'm as guilty as the rest of these folks on this thread, I am also quite sure you will not have any postings of rating numbers. We're all too busy trying to come up with that perfect line to use in a really bad morning show.

How about...

I always though that "Merry Christmas" was a good "line" to use, this time of year. I've been using it for years and years. It is my intetion to continue that practice, DESPITE what the politically correct po-lice have to say about it.
