George Brusstar again you forgot to tell the truth

The best part of RJ's show was when he cut you off the air when you tried to get a promo for yourself and your stream. I must remind you that RJ had six primetime bluechip sponsors who gave up their time to allow RJ to promote his aims and objections of his show in the coming weeks. Next week you will see six blue chip sponsors on his show 1540 3pm Saturday, plus coast to coast on WNWR.com. Even Bob Hamilton called him from Hollywood. When did you ever get a call from anyone on the west coast. You wish you could get calls from Philadelphia. RJ took over 100 calls. The system could not handle the amount of calls he got. The president of the station called RJ after the show and said thank you for bringing life back to radio 1540. I think RJ is on his way to a very successful show because he never expected such a successful response to his very first show. Someday, maybe you'll be as big as RJ.

I am betting this post was written by RJ himself. This is obvious spam, adding nothing to the board. Why do the moderators allow it? I was in the studio on Satuday. RJ got a few, and I repeat, a few calls. Over 100, I think not.

2006 - Pot calls kettle black.I see nothing here about how - in any way - Brusstar did not tell the truth about anything.Bob Hamilton called from LA? If this is the same Bob Hamilton who worked at several local stations in the 70's, the last report was he was working in Miami. Calling from LA is quite a trick.Over 100 calls in an hour show? No wonder he's cutting people off. And he still has time to talk about his aims and "objections?" (I thought it was was people who read his posts who had the objections.) ::) The station must be in sad shape if RJ's $300 a week brings "life back to the station." The station president is a good salesman, though. Always call and thank the client for his business.Next week, thanks to RJ's new "blue chip" sponsor, Rick's Occult and Spirituality Shop on South Street (special on Ouija Boards this week only), RJ's special guest will be his close personal friend John Facenda.I get calls from the West Coast all the time and I didn't even have to buy an hour on 1540 AM. As big as RJ? Wow! As big as somebody who aspires to be as big as the Geator, the King of all (Brokered) Media."

Uhhhhhh, I invented brokered radio, Robin. I've done it all and everyone rips me off....HOO HOO! Tell 'em, Fred!

BRUSSTAR, FRED FLINSTONE, STOP LYING. DON'T JUDGE OTHER PEOPLE BY YOURSELF

When Bob Hamilton called RJ on radio Saturday afternoon at 3, he did call from Hollywood, California. He was on vacation. Took time out of his vacation day and was so kind to wish RJ good luck. When you said he manages two stations in Miami, you were correct. He manages one of the most popular stations in Miami. Majic 102, and he would call RJ and has done many times from all parts of the USA. Remember, he was the program director of K-Earth in Hollywood, and general manager of 1260 radio in San Francisco, another great oldies station. Where would RJ be without great people like Bob Hamilton and Joey Reynolds, which you both refer to WOR as a low power station. I hate to inform you it's 50,000 watts out of New York City. Please stop showing your ignorance. and keep praying that you will be in real radio some day, and that won't be very soon.

Who said anything about WOR, its effective radiated power or Joey Reynolds?Answer: Nobody (just you). RJ, you "forgot" to tell the truth.Maybe you were hoping nobody would notice.PS: K-Earth is in West LA's Wilshire District, not Hollywood. What was Hamilton doing in Hollywood anyway. Couldn't he get into any of the good hotels?

RJ, George is small peanuts. You have bigger fish to fry. Pay him no more mind and give him the press he craves, even if it is negative (bad press better than no press). He doesn't know where his allegiances lay. He's about to lose another member of his crew, the last independent thinker in the whole bunch. Continued success with your shows. GB is extremely jealous and now the chickens are coming home to roost. "Something To Say with RJ" Saturdays 3PM on New World Radio - 1540am/WNWR

Can someone explain this hissy fit/bitch fight between Rob and George...or between George and Rob...whoever started what, etc, etc. I'm can't keep up with this Jerry Springer-esque drama!

You probably need to listen to Radio Racket really to follow this soap opera. ???The short version: Brusstar was going to give Altimari a show on his audio stream, which for some reason I never figured out was being referred to as "The Steak Show." Brusstar said he had lined up a sponsor who wanted to call it "The Steak and Potatoes Show." Altimari balked and demanded it be called "The Rockin' Rob Show" (even though it was to have been a talk show). Insults flew on the show last week.Meanwhile, Brusstar et al made some jokes at RJ's expense about all the RJ posts. He called in to the show and responded in kind. Now, Rob and RJ are demonstrating the ancient principle: The enemy of my enemy is my friend.Tonight at 10, whether or not the Hyski interview comes off this time, we still have the soap opera.

The whole sad thing with my show doesn't belong on public forums as Ihave told my side and invite anyone to catch my blog on the situation of what truly transpired. It's old news, other than the sure spin that will be offered on this week's snoozefest.Fred, please feel free to e-mail me privately and I will be more than happy to discuss. This doesn't deserve anymore press.Has anyone seen a weather forecast for tonight? Would be a shame for the Gods above to order a thunderstorm again to knock off the CavTel hook-up.

The Gods Above Are Smiling

AccuWeather says:
Clear to Partly Cloudy tonight. Low 61.Winds from the SW at 3 mph.Thunderstorm probability: 3%
