George Gray, founder of WAAF and former owner of WBSM AM/FM in New Bedford passed away this weekend. He was a really good guy and a true broadcaster.
 
Wow! He must have been quite elderly. I worked for him back in my late high school and early college years at WAAB. Sorry to hear of his passing.
 
Very sorry to hear. Yes, he was a good guy back in the day of real radio.
I remember my brief (1st on air foray there) time there back in '76. Easy to
work with and he let the talent do what talent did. Anyone got the email
for his son, Michael, who got me in the door ? Lost track of him...If so, email me at
[email protected] ...
