George Strait takes over KJ97

all day and all night, all george, all the time for the day. it's a pretty big promotion for his new cd comming out tomorrow. they're even playing a bunch of album cuts. but I wonder how many repeats of songs are they playing?

All George, All the time is not necessarily a bad thing.
If a station just played his charted singles, they could probably go 6 hours or so before there would be repeat. But then again, I'm certain that songs like "Amarillo By Morning" will get played several times

You can't go wrong in Texas by playing George Strait...especially in his hometown of San Antonio. YOu ask any Texas woman about her top 5 "dream" men...George Strait and Sam Elliot will be on 95% of the lists

Kix 108 in Victoria plays Goerge every hour.

an all George Strait could sound nice on an HD2. He's got as many songs, maybe even more, than some station's playlists.
