Georgia 105.1

WNGA is back on the air again as of today playing the same loop of music from January. Will this be permanent? They are playing some good country not heard on other stations in the area. I believe there was a CP for a signal boost on this station.

They could be on the air to meet the requirements for the construction permit. They have to be on the air for a certain amount of time to prove the station is performing as predicted. There used to be a program test requirement, but I do not know if that applies any longer.

Program test is automatic unless it's a directional. Directional FMs have to get an approved license to cover before they can crank it up.
