Geraldo at Large axed

from broadcastingcable.com. No big thing for him, since he will at least still have a gig weekends on FNC. Even if that didnt happen, i think that he'd end up somewhere on tv

Geraldo won't be gone for long, I know it. He just had his show at a bad time, trying to compete with network newscasts on the Big 3.

oh..and he's a worthless piece of crap. I fliped by the other day and I saw him on the beach shirtless...threw up in my mouth a little bit.

It seems to have been updated in the meantime, but if I had caught it when it was still not updated, I would have quoted this.

Good! Maybe some of the Fox O&O's (like Fox 29 in Philly) will be able to put on The Simpsons or Seinfeld or FG as an alternative to local news at 11. If that happens, this could be really good news.

As for Geraldo, he'll be fine. For some reason, that guy always lands on his feet.

I would love if WTXF brings back MASH and put it on at 11 PM weeknights. Back to the topic, why did they move "at large to syndication from FNC in the frist place?

If you mean FG as in "Family Guy", WTXF is out. There is a syndication deal effective next year, but it preferences Tribune stations in major markets. If anything, get ready to see the show on MyPHL17 and not 29.
