....to get some publicity just as the rating period begins?
So far no details of this in the usual places. D&C's contracts were renewed recently.
If the METCO gorilla didn't spell the end of Gerry's WEEI career, this certainly won't.
They mentioned it on Monday when Jerry Thornton of Barstool Sports was filling in for him. He was taking a planned day off, and they said they joked that he was suspended.
Indeed he didn't wind up as headline fodder in Herald and Globe the next day.
