Get Ready For The Flips at CC in Jacksonville.

mb --- go to it and just type in "jacksonville" and see the entire list of the citygrade stations. There's two 93.3's.
Interesting. Good investigative work.

the other one you saw was for Jacksonville, NC..but that is okay...what I am surprised is that yes.com is beating everyone to the punch about the change...has someone leaked some info to them about a change? I wonder....this is getting ready to be a Showdown...lets pull that ELO song out called "Showdown" and lets play it.....lol...later

CC moves the Urban format to Hastings, FL on 93.3 and spins it off, then puts the ROO format on 92.7 and it stays in Jax. Remember CC needs to sell one of their stations....just a guess on my part, who knows!!!!

I'm not a total wiz at Jax radio, but do you really think ROO will actually stay in Jax?

I have a feeling the Rooster is a format to keep a little revenue going until the changeover happens. Rooster get its head chopped off, Beat moves to the new powerful 93.3. If they are doing this, it might be to get people used to the new freq.

Some of the details need correcting in this post. 93.3 has no CP or application to move to Hastings on file at FCC right now. 92.7 has an application to change its city of license to Hastings which would eliminate any Jacksonville coverage for the station and make it a St. Augustine signal. I would say CC is going to spin off the 92.7 signal after getting the permit to move it out of Jacksonville. The whole WJBT moving to 93.3 does make a lot of sense for Clear Channel since it is a heritage station. If they do put Rooster on 92.7 then it does prove they are done with the station since it would lose Jacksonville coverage after a move to Hastings/St. Augustine. The city of license for 107.3 would change to Green Cove Springs with no facility change so that Green Cove Springs would keep an allotment.

Thursday morning might be the day for 93.3 The Beat

CC JAX IS GOING TO SELL WROO......but before they do, they're going to flip it's frequency AGAIN (in case you forgot, WROO was 107.3 for 20 or more years and flipped with 93.3 PLANET RADIO)......this time it'll flip with 92.7 THE BEAT...so it'll be 92.7 THE ROOSTER and 93.3 THE BEAT......the reason, Rooster's ratings are consistently bad therefore, put it on the lowest wattage FM frequency Clear Channel has in JAX. You can thank [EDIT]for slowly killing THE ROOSTER.
