Getting a job abroad

I live in the States and have recently sent a few resumes to work overseas and thus far have not heard any response. Can anyone tell me from experience how difficult it is to land a job over there and whether it is even worth the time to continue sending out resumes.

Thanks

Dan:

I've been looking for work overseas in the past as well, with no luck.

You should check out www.mediauk.com which is a really good source for information in the UK...

While US jocks could get a job easy during the 80s, it's hard to get one now. You should try the UK or Ireland, although there aren't many US jocks left there who are still broadcasting. And English based stations in other parts of Europe are very hard to find these days. Good luck though !
