Help me understand this. I know most major terrestrial radio stations get direct service from the record labels to play their music. I also recall reading or hearing somewhere that if you run a fully legal/licensed internet station, the labels can also choose to provide music service to you as well.
I recently got setup with CDX a free service that sends you CDs full of current single releases (Country). I also am setup on dmds.com for similar service to download files. This is a good start but I wonder if any of you have had any success interfacing directly with labels to get music service. Or having the labels tell a service that your station is approved for their services. I also applied for PlayMPE, but they claim that they don't have their own channels for internet radio.
If you've worked things out please share your experiences and strategies with us.
Thank you!
