Ghost At 84 Prospect Street Now Homeless!

Drove by the former Funeral Home and studio location of WNAK/WLNP and noticed the dozer in back. Building is already half demolished. Anyone that ever worked their probably has a tale or two to tell about the building.

Whoever lives/works in the next structure will end up on TLC's Haunted Houses show.

my favorite story is about the time they were rebuild the place and hadn't cleared all the caskets out of the building. Mike Lee, who was Charmaine's son, was working with Ron Schatt and was spooked by the place. One day, Ron gets to the house before Mike, climbs into one of the caskets and waits. Needless to say, someone was screaming like a girl and its wasn't Ron.

When I worked nights at WNAK in 1989-1990, I was frequently spooked by the noises coming from the top floor "apartment" where Bob N. would sometimes stay. At first, I figured Mr. N. was just staying there and not telling me, so I wasn't really freaked out by the footsteps, creaks, sounds of radios playing, and other assorted noises. But, one night, he called me when I took the station's power down to tell me that the signal was weak at his house and that I should call Ron Schacht to look into it. I said, "But aren't you upstairs?" He said no. I asked who was, and he said nobody. Sure enough, I went up to check it out (at Mr. N's insistence) and found nobody.

From that night on, when I heard the noises, I just slapped on my Senheisers and focused on the show.

Sorry to see that place go, though - there was a lot of history in that building.

I worked for Bob N for a year in the early 90s I have been out of the area for 14 years someone told me he died is that true

Bob passed away at least 5 years ago I believe. He was a very interesting man to work for, to say the least. Does anyone know how Charmaine Grove is doing?

I haven't seen Charmaine Grove in the last year and a half. I used to see her once and a while at Perkins in Wilkes-Barre Township.
