Has anyone else read the quotes from this idiot about the Cianci signing? Of all the egos in that place, he's close to the top of the list. Who does he think he's fooling making it look like he had ANYTHING to do with Cianci coming.

NO WAY is he going to be able to manage this staff. Starting 9/20 we'll see more than ever how bad it is with a first time GM and a first time PD in the same building. Paul's new role: Write liners and plan Eggs and Issues. He doesn't have the clout or repect to coach ANYONE on that staff, which last I checked, is what a PD is supposed to do.

The thing that sucks the most is, in his mind, he thinks he's gonna go down in RI Radio History as the guy who gave Cianci his first job out of prison. Giammarco's a fraud and he's the only person who doesn't know it... until now.
 
I STRONGLY disagree. Ofcourse he was part of what went down, he is the P.D. The more important thing is Paul is a decent man. I've known him for years . The LAST thing he is ,is a fraud. Why are you so angry?
 
Oh I'm not angry at all. Barely even know the guy. But I do know how that place works, and do know his role is not as a traditional PD. He's a puppet. Period. Do you think anyone asked him for help courting Cianci? Or for his opinion? Very doubtful.

I agree that the anger obscures the conversation.

Calling Paul names is unseemly.
I'd also call it unprofessional, but many-who-post-here aren't radio professionals to begin with.
And darn few have ever programmed a radio station.

Nothing matters more than what-comes-out-the-speaker.
