Gil Gross on A&G

I turned on KSTE this morning. I said to myself, "Who is this?" I looked to see if my radio was tuned to AM650.

It was Gil Gross filling in for Armstrong & Getty. Once I understood the rhythm of his voice, he was great. Although I enjoy A&G more, Gil made the issues of the day very entertaining.

It was a pleasant surprise, since I'm not familiar with him as those in SFO are.

I enjoy Gil's show much more than A&G replays. I didn't realize, until about 15 minutes ago, that he's the anchor I hear on ABC's top-o-the-hour news. I listen to KNCO-AM to get ABC News at the top.

I hope A&G is back on Monday. The news people the past two days were un-listen-able. I also like the banter between Marshall and A&G. It makes me nervous having all these fill-ins. Please radio gods, let them just be on vacation. ;)

Anyone from the inside know for sure?

Gil Gross used to do dual Duties as a Fill-in at KGO-AM and doing the hourly news for ABC Radio.
I know some people in NYC says that he used to work for WCBS-AM back in the 1970's

Thank you A&G for rockin' this morning. My posts, of course, were in jest. I guess that makes me a jester. ;)

From listening to A&G, sounds like people didn't much care for Gill Gross filling in.

Gil was O.K. It was his annoying co-host that drove me nuts. ::)

I've heard Gil Gross hosting a national broadcast named "Real Estate Today." I've heard it on Saturdays around Sacramento on Money 105.5FM and in the Bay Area on KSFO.
