Gina Maravilla returns to 3TV

I was happy to see Gina Maravilla back on 3TV, even though I knew she had sat in for Lisa Hafner on Your Life A to Z a couple of times. At first I thought Bruce Hafner, since he did the roving traffic reports, was leaving but he was there.
I'm still a little upset with KPHO for "making changes" and getting rid of Maravilla while she was on maternity leave.
The few traffic segments I saw I thought Gina did well. There were times where she was standing directly in front of the incidents she would be highlight. She'll get better as she continues to do it.
Also, isn't it a no-no wearing the color red on HD broadcasts because red makes you look bigger?

KPHO is just a sad operation. However, I'm sure that they took care of Gina in terms of salary to avoid any legal action. At the end of the day, she probably ended up with a longer maternity leave than she would have otherwise had.
Furthermore, I don't understand KPHO's non-renewal of Omadelle Nelson's contract. She seemed like a solid, capable reporter. Isn't that what KPHO wants?

I believe that Scott Davis reported (Phoenix Television Examiner) that Omadelle , who is getting married in June, was looking something closer to her family that is on the East Coast.
