Ginger and Dru show their true colors once again

I heard through the grapevine the Dru Laborde is going to Vegas to present KYKX at the NAB awards, in which KYKX is a finalist for the Public Service Award. I thought Paula Prince was the Public Service Director. She is the one that spent a whole lot of her free time at charity events, and she is the one that spent a whole lot of time putting together the package that was sent to the NAB. But when it was announced that KYKX was a finalist, Ginger chose her boy Dru to go and represent KYKX. And what is even worse than that is that Dru accepted. A good PD would have let the person who did all the work go, but not "ALL I THINK ABOUT IS MYSELF" Dru. That shows you how much he cares about his employees. But then again, Dru will NEVER be up for a DJ or PD award, so I guess he has to take it when he can.
In my opinion, Dru and Ginger run that radio station to benefit themselves. When it comes to work, they delegate it out, but when it comes to accepting the awards, they are the first in line. I don't know how they sleep at night.
 
i think they get sleepy when they saw that boring Heather Mills on Dancin with the stars.i know it about put me to sleep.Hey Paula, Vegas ain't all it's cracked up to be.you'll be glad you stayed home.been there done that.
 
It all boils down to getting the attention off of KYKX ratings.
 
Yeah she did ,surprised? I wouldn't be surprised if Dru and Ginger had more than station duties going on,and that accounts for a lot of their dismal performance. I hope the vegas folks have at least some common sense to pan KYKX, and award to to someone else more deserving.
 
What the hell did they do to deserve a Public Service award?! KYKX stop serving the public years ago. Someone must have stuffed the ballot box. How long has Ginger been with the station? I don't know her.

Does anyone know how to get in touch (email adress) with the corporate office up in New York????
I bet they don't have a clue how KYKX is being run. There are too many managers down here sticking up for one another.
 
ACCESS ONE..RADIO ONE whatrever "one" they call themselves don't really care and it shows.The best thing to do is write letters , and emails to the local paper, then to KKYX advertisers,but you better have a bunch of folks willing to do that. Tell the advertisers you will seek your business elsewhere if DRU and the crap crew continue.
 
Access is in NJ. You may want to contact Rick Guest in Tyler. He's the GM. I guarantee you he'd love to hear this stuff. HE WILL put a stop to it. I worked with him many years ago and still know him. In fact, I may say something to him myself. I don't listen to KYKX myself so I cannot relay any first hand info on what's been going on over there but I sure can direct him to this page!!
 
i wish you would say something to rick guess. better yet, i wish he would come over and work in the longview office for a week or two. oh my gosh, you talk about cramping someone's style......dru and ginger would have to work a 40 hour week...........could it be done?????? regarding dru and ginger screwing paula out of her vegas trip, tell rick to talk to paula about it, because if he questions dru or ginger about it, they would probably say that paula didn't really want to go. paula made it very clear that she wanted to go and was hurt that they overlooked her. dru didn't care about paula's feelings or the public service award. all he could think about was a FREE trip to vegas. like i said before, dru and ginger run that radio station to benefit themselves. rick needs to talk to the dj's - danny, paula, and brandon if he wants the truth about how the radio station is run.
