My sources tell me CNN big wigs aren't happy with Glen Beck. He does sound kinda yuckey.

I think he is one of the funniest guys around. Though he does get on some rants once and a while.

Yes i agree. He can be funny at times and he is very well produced but he belongs on HOT TALK not mainstream News-Talk. Just too overbearing.A report was released last week by TV/CABLE ratings. It showed the Avr age for Cable and network news is 60. GB does not relate to a 60 year old and he's pushing the 40-50 year old. There's a reason why he's not on the big boy's: WABC, WLS, KGO, KJR, KABC and others.Prediction: GB will be out of CNN in six months.

no ratings...like savage on msnbc....I thought eating the hamburger like a pig was sick...I think a many talk show hosts see the writing on the wall ...and are branching out ...TV books internet etc

If anything, his repeat is on after Nancy Grace, who (although she is hideously annoying) has 3/4 mil viewers a night. Beck doesn't really belong on hot talk (Glenn Beck now... Tom Leykis this afternoon???), but perhaps on an upcoming brand of lifestyle stations that cater to men and women who may be intelligent enough for newstalk but get sick of the same crap over and over. These listeners are likely more affluent than the average news/talk listener anyway. Beck is a real talent and a class act, but it seems to me he costs himself listeners by not doing balls-to-the-wall political stuff all day.

By the way... who are these "sources"? Way to substantiate.BTW, Glenn's not on the big top-3 market stations because, from experience, (a) Premiere is the least aggressive with selling their shows, (b) TRN has developed a buddy-buddy relationship with WOR and Salem which is built with some of their cash, and (c) CC only owns one news/talker in the three, KFI, which has no room for syndicated talk outside of Rush and the local Dr. Laura.
