Glen Clark Cobalt Blue Card

Can anyone tell me what was special about the Glen Clark Cobalt Blue card? was it a composite clipper or what did it do special to the Optimod 8100A that made it so loud?

The cobalt blue card is used as a replacement card 5 for the 8100 optimod.
It has more agressive release times and used fuzzy logic.
I could only use it for 5db gain reduction, any more at it got very dense as well as distorted.
