Glen Redd

I'm just wondering if Glen Redd is still with Intercom Milwaukee. I haven't heard him on Sunday mornings lately. I use to know him several years ago as an intern at the former WEZW. He hasn't been as big a presence with them since the launch of WSSP. He survived several format and ownership changes there. I would think that if he is no longer there, Tim Cuprisin should have made mention of it.

I will always remember listening to Glen Redd overnights on WAMG "Magic 103.7" between 1994 and 1998. I was 8-9 years old and had trouble sleeping so I would spend the night listening to him on what was my favorite station of the time. Hearing Glen Redd on the air always brings back memories.

Last I heard him it was 12-26-04 with the WMYX Magic stunt. He was the voice guy during the prank.

He's most likely still with the stations doing behind the scenes work. He was Operations Director for WEMP during the relgious days. Maybe he's still the Operations Director for WSSP.

Re: Glenn Redd

Glenn Redd is no longer at Entercom. I just spoke with Glen a few weeks ago. I'll ask Glenn if he wants me to mention his "parting of company".

Wishing the best to Glenn Redd. He is one of those truly nice people in the industry. He was one of the people that made me feel very comfortable when I was an intern at WEZW/WMYX/WEMP. Hope to hear from him and where he lands.

Heck, I'm old enough to remember Glenn Redd when he worked for Woody Sudbrink and his wife Margaretha at WEZW when it was over a funiture store on Capitol Drive! Big pay too.... $5.00 an hour in 1973!

He had the early morning Public Affairs show that was 30 minutes a week, and ran on a giant sized cart! (A dub from a reel to reel!)

I worked weekends 1am to 9am for the same $5 an hour! Of course gas was 34 cents a gallon!
