So this morning, Tyler and Turner announced that Glenn Garret is joining New 92. He joined them on the program this morning, but were vauge about what shift, or what he was going to do. Mornings? This is a pretty big move, givin Glenn's history with Columbia. What is going to have more impact? Glenn's move or Rush's?

Another nail in the coffin to the once mighty WCOS. They got Mike Lockabee from there and now Glen Garrett who I have met on a couple of occasions and you would never meet a nicer person and a great radio personality. It is nice to see that the Columbia Radio Group is really trying to invest in that station and to really try and compete with WCOS.

That's fantastic! It should be a great fit for Glen. We worked together for many years on 2 different occasions. Glen knows the market and knows the music. If the support is there, they could make some inroads. Yay! Glen! ;D

Glen I think will be on Middays. Glen is a real good person and I hope this will put a nail into WCOS. I don't get it on WCOS the midday guy does 9a-4p and then Andy Woods does 4P-Midnight? Run Rush run away fast.........and don't look back!

Glen is a great guy and needs to be back on Columbia radio.

WCOS is going to be a pretty big dog to bring down in Columbia for as long as broadcast radio is important to people. Moving Rush to that format was pretty smart for CC. The locals who grew up with him are now his age and have segued to Country music in their lifestyle.

Glen has been in Country radio since before Tyler was born. This should be interesting.

That's great news if Glen's back on the radio at New 92. Truly a class act and a nice guy. He will bring a lot of experience and first hand knowledge of the area because he's indigenous to it. My only question is, if he works middays, where does Eric Chaney go?

Lots of talent on 92 now with Glenn coming in...Line up looks like Tyler and Turner in the Morning, Glen middays, Eric, now the PD, doing afternoons, Mike Lockabie nights and Ed Byrd doing weekend overnights and soon weekday overnights. Lots of power and great guys and lady on 92.

I really like what 92 has done with their talent lately and Glenn is definitely an asset to that organization with his 30 years plus of radio here in the Columbia area.

I am glad to hear Glenn is back on country radio. I can't get 92 where I live unless I head to Columbia but when I do I will listen for him.
