More Important - Beck leaves Philly

Beck is moving to New York for his cable TV gig. His radio show will originate from Premiere Radio's facility in Manhattan, although his show is not carried in New York (however with Bob Grant retiring, WOR may have an open slot but it would mean either delaying Beck's morning show or juggling their schedule).

And Beck will be on Headline News, not CNN.

Beck would be a better fit, I believe, on WABC - if they want him. While we're on the subject, I understand that he's planning to shift his show's focus away from the politics-intensive approach and toward more general-interest and lifestyle topics. If that's true, it's a good sign. We have a glut of political talk as it is.

Amen! It is very divisive and in my opinion only adds to the toxic political climate. Why does everyone with a talk show have to be left or right? Is the middle ground that uninteresting?
