There are a number of internet-only stations aimed specifically at the Philadelphia audience, including the original Hy Lit radio to the 21 different music stations on iradiophilly (with local information inserted), Philly Gold Radio with some of the old PGR jocks & jingles, Sounds of Philly Radio, etc. I'm not sure what kind of audience these stations have. But most people in the target audience I know who'd listen to Beck are people who don't have internet or would never listen to radio on it. To be honest, some people I know who like his thoughts tend to be sort of paranoid against the internet, conspiracy theory people who have heard the internet is 'evil'. They will probably listen to whatever is on the regular airwaves on 1210. Most offices I've worked in also block internet radio listening as taking up too much computer space which leaves out younger working listeners. Sounds like a real hard sell to build an 55+ audience on the internet. They'd be better off buying the time on a station like 1180.
