GLENN BECK doesn't seem to be scoffing!

Come on Holland,

ME:

I look forward to your links to articles and stories from you where you advised dropping this dangerous, stale, embarassing and predictable talk. EMPHASIS: I am talking about stations that drop it, not have it taken away.

YOU: http://getonthenet.com/radio-info.pdf

PAGE 1: Talk radio is a timebomb

PAGE 2: Clear Channel is stealing their own programming and this may be good for the stations they take it from.

Back to my point: I am talking about stations that drop it, not have it taken away.

Feel free to get back to me with a response to what I said, as opposed to what you are wanting to say.

Also: You should give me a free subscription to your newsletter because of all the pub these interactions give you.

NOW we're gettin' somewhere!

That misquote PROVES that you're skimming-not-reading.

You mean http://getonthenet.com/radio-info.pdf ?

RE why-don't-I-offer-here documents demonstrating that I have discussed alternatives with Limbaugh-affiliated clients: Let's role-play.

Pretend you're the station owner and I'm your consultant (this IS a hypothetical), and we're in Non-Disclosure to-begin-with, and doing Strategic Planning which includes discussion of dropping Talk Radio's biggest show. Would you expect me to be detailing THAT conversation with anonymous soreheads -- some-of-whom may be your employees -- on an Internet chat?

Certainly I'm flattered that you'd find The Meaty Monthly (http://getonthenet.com/radio-info.pdf) of value.
But I KNOW you're teasing me, because you'd have to identify yourself for me to comp you.
And THAT would be like asking Dracula out for a stroll on a sunny beach.

We are in different sides of this business Holland, you thrive on getting your name out and identifying problems and trying to solve them. You need clients and your name to be out there.

Me laying my name out to you hurts my career, trust me I have been down that path.

I will provide you an e-mail for you to send the newsletter to: [email protected] (seriously) i LOOK FORWARD TO IT.

Then, you shouldn't be on a message board like this to begin with.

Holland, keep at it.

And YOUR point about Glenn Beck?
I think I made my point n my first post of this thread:

Holland was pushing talk radio will lead to violence and now he is saying Glenn Beck has a guard is proof of that.

In reality maybe it says the attacks on talk radio is leading to violence against hosts?

See how dumb that is?

Still being obtuse as usual.

You know who I am Sean, and I respect the fact that you kept it quite, the fact is people from this board (not moderators) contacted my employer because I disagreed with them, that is why I don't use my real name. I am by no means important in this biz, but I still like my job.

That was an attempted to harm my career and make me shut up, Holland on the other hand is selling a prduct (his newsletter) or two (his consulting services). I respect what he does and he is right on 90% of the time, so yes Holland... "stay at it" and send me mmy free subscription.

See you there?

guess I'll start looking for a convention somewhere.

Everybody-over-two-feet-tall-in-Talk-Radio will be there:

New this year: I'll be operating a concession stand in the lobby, selling Groucho glasses to radio-info.com denizens seeking-to-remain-anonymous. I'm vetting various Malaysian vendors for a model that enables you to wiggle the eyebrows.
