Glenn Beck has #3 Talk Show Nationally.. but Not Heard Here

Read somewhere that Beck is behind only Rush & Hannity. That may be station clearances, not necessarily audience. Why do you suppose he's not somewhere on the air in Seattle or Portland? Yeah, I know he's on in Aberdeen and Pasco-TriCities and Eugene and Spokane .. but whyd'ya suppose nobody in the BIG markets has grabbed him?He boasts 212 affiliates, by the way.

As of RIGHT NOW, there are only two stations where you can put him.KVI and KTTH.Of the two, KTTH is the best candidate because they already have no livestock in the stable and are 80% syndicated. There may be issues between airing Beck and Limbaugh on the same stick...don't know bout that.Too long since I've been where I can hear whispers in hallways! lol I've listened to Beck. He's not what I'd call Seattle's (potential) P1 Conservative audience type.

Beck offers nothing particularly unique...and with 212 affiliates, my hunch is that they are made up of second tier stations in most markets. But everyone has to have a farm team - and maybe as Rushbo fades into the Palm Beach sunset, Beck will have his day in the majors...

I knew a guy who was crazy about glenn Beck, he was part of the online club that could watch archives of the webcam. I've listened a few times on XM and have to admit that he isn't as bad as I expected. Entertaining....but it got old.

Ironic that Beck has so little radio exposure hereabouts ... since he was born & grew up in Bellingham... a fact I just read in a Pennsylvania newspaper article. At the age of 13 Glenn won a contest to be a deejay for an hour...and a year later ..at 14 ..was working three radio jobs simultaneously... in the Bellingham area.
