Glenn Beck on KNST

Since KCUB is moving Dan Patrick to 6AM live Monday, does it make since for Clear Channel to move one their "own" shows to KNST, a CC station?
Could they carry it live? Make sense as everything news wise comes out of Phoenix?!! ???

Something big, something big, something big, something big...is coming
to WXLW. (Well that's what the splashy teaser on the K-Nasty website
reminded me of):

http://www.knst.com/pages/announcement.html

Kinda wonder though, why the "big announcement" is at 8am Monday.
Aren't things like this always supposed to be promoed for 7:20am?
That way, listeners are tuned in early--by 7:10--to make sure they
don't miss it, and the station then gets credit for two quarter hours!

BTW, in the announcement graphic the hairline and head tilt of the
outlined subject does look suspiciously like the Beckster!

Now, does this mean they're going right to his show, airing 8-11, meaning
Beck, El Rushbo and Hannity will all be on a two-hour delay? (Rush and
Hannity are now live 9-12 and 12-3.)

Or, will KNST air the Beckster live 6-9am (as of whatever start date)?
That means they blow out the local morning show. Well...much of the
local news is from the El Cheapo Channel shop in Phoenix, the traffic is
from CC/Phoenix, so why not all-syndie talk?

Maybe Beck replaces Ramsey. Maybe Beck on in the morning and Parisi moves to afternoon drive. Maybe they bail on the Savage re-run twice in the market and put Beck on in that slot although it would seem unlikely they'd put Beck on at night.

Don't see them putting Rush on a delay, that's a very highly rated show.

Maybe 790, seeing Tucker's move on KRDX, is sensing that this market needs ANOTHER oldies station so we can hear even more of the same songs. One by one, all the stations in the CC building will join KWFM Cool Oldies only they'll do it very slowly so it's not obvious.

The Beckster, 3-6pm on K-Nasty 790.

He's the "six-hour rain delay" in Phoenix (12-3pm on KT'R-FM),
so he'll be the "nine-hour rain delay" in Tucson.

Didn't KJLL bring him to Tucson originally? How many talkers that have gone on to higher levels were brought to Tucson by indy 1330? Beck, Hendrie, Hannity? Wasn't Doyle on 1330? O'Rielly when he was doing his show? Geez who else?

KJLL has had their pocket picked more than a tourist in Manhattan.

I mean there was also Mancow but you can't be 100%

In the 4pm local news windows on KFYI Phoenix and KNST Tucson today,
I heard the same news anchor on both stations. She gave the current
temperature on KFYI, but not on KNST. So in addition to CC/Phoenix
feeding news to Tucson (outside of AM drive), it's also canned! Can you
not get current weather stats on KNST after 11am? (Maybe...read on.)

As for traffic, I couldn't get a make on the 4pm window although I think
I heard one the KFYI Traffic Twins also on KNST.

At 4:30, Phoenix had the local news anchor, traffic, weather (canned
channel 10 forecast, live temp) in that order. Tucson had one of the
Phoenix traffic guys at the top of the window and he did give the current
temp. There was no local news here, just the Fox News at :30:30 report
which KNST delayed a couple minutes to the end of the window.

Let's see now...if there's a severe weather warning for Tucson released
at say, 3:58pm, will it make the 4pm news window on K-Nasty? Or will
the forecast still be "partly cloudy with a 20% chance of thunderstorms"?

(Maybe Tucson should change its name to...Minot? ::))
