Glenn Beck on the old "Y95"

Hey everyone,

I'm hoping you guys can help me out. I'm working on a TV documentary profile of Glenn Beck for a major network. Before his days on talk radio, Beck was a "Zoo" radio DJ, mostly on Top 40 stations. In fact, from 1987 through 1989 he was the morning DJ alongside Tim Hattrick on the old "Y95," before it changed to KYOT. (See here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AJkxBLgd5Hs)

I'm wondering if anyone has any hints in terms of where I can find recorded audio from Beck's morning show, the "Y Morning Zoo." I've contacted the station, but most stations don't maintain archives that far back.

Any thoughts? Perhaps one of you has Beck's show in your archive without even realizing it! Any help you can provide would be much appreciated. Feel free to e-mail me with any questions.

Thanks so much,

Sarah

You might try contacting Beck personally, or try his old sidekick, Tim. Radio people save aircheck tapes. ;D
