Glenn Beck on WRKA

I noticed that Glenn Beck, the conservative but yet controversial radio talk
show host will soon be the host of a new TV show that will soon start up on
CNN Headline News. my question: is this the same Glenn Beck who did a morning
show on WRKA in Louisville back in the mid-to-late 1980s? and is his talk show
currently heard in Louisville nowadays?

Yep that is the same Glenn Beck. When he was down here in the Tampa building we talked and laughed about those days.

Same Beck and he had a pretty good following here in Louisville. At the time the Binghams of WHAS were involved in a family feud and ended up selling their entire media properties. Glenn had Sally Bingham(one of the Bingham daughters) on his show and gave away a signed $100 bill with Sally Binghams signature on it. Essentially, a Bingham Buck-- a popular WHAS contest at the time.

Beck was supposedly cruel to WHAS during that time. I never heard it but he did send a note of apology to Terry Meiners a few years ago.

His show is currently on the air in Louisville from 9-12 each day on WKJK, the other Clear Channel talker in Louisville.
