Glenn Beck?

Sorry if I'm posting old news, but KPRC has changed their schedule. Glenn Beck's gone from weekdays, replaced by Michael Berry.

Any idea why this happened?

Thanks!

Bitter, party of one, your table is ready.

I think it would be a party of hundreds he's caused througout the years.

Beck's ratings were in the trash. Plus they probably needed another local show for more rev opportunities.

No clue why Michael Berry is the guy. He buys time on KTRH for his real estate business.

If they had to look internally for a new local daily talker they chose the wrong Michael. Now they have another right-wing, political-oriented, no-humor host.

Try something new for once. It's the morning. Get the listeners' juices flowing. Pump it up.

You're right! If they'd have chosen Mike Shiloh, they'd have the weirdest, funniest (yet journalistically sound) topical show in town with a 25-year broadcasting veteran, like FM News Channel 97.5 does. Thank you for pointing this out, Dog!

Right again! Mike Shiloh.

(Sorry Garfield, I couldn't resist.)

But I'm guessing they also wanted ratings and revenues, something neither you or FM Snooze Channel have.

Hey, I'm the only one allowed to call it FM Snooze Channel on the air.

Wasn't Raoul Duke once Hunter S. Thompson's pen name? Don't you know you could be cursed for life for stealing from the dead?

I prefer Mr. Beck to that dick they have on from 9 - 11 AM on KPRC. It would be preferable to broadcast dead air than that moron.

Actually it is the charecter from Doonesbury paterned after Thompson. So I am stealing from the living who is making money from the now dead. Is that so wrong??
