Glenn Burns celebrates 25years at Channel 2

While researching the Collins Spencer situation at WSB-TV, I see that channel 2 is promoting the fact that Meterologist Glenn Burns is celebrating 25 years doing Atlanta weather. He started off doing the noon news and morning weather updates and after Russ Minshew lost his job Glenn was ready to step up the top job in the mid 80s. Glenn looks like he has not aged and looks so simular to his start in 1982. Channel 2 has by far the most experienced long-term weather department in Atlanta and I am willing to bet one of the longest serving teams in Television. The top 3 Meterologists have been with WSB since the 80s and it was just recently they added a fourth full-time meterologist to the team. Just imagine one tv station that has anchor team that has been on Atlanta TV since the 70s, a meterologist with 25 years at WSB and a sports guy at the station since 1985.

Channel 5's chief Meterologist Ken Cook does have Glenn beat in logevity forcasting Atlantna weather since 1979.
