Nice little treat this morning to hear Glenn Laxton (however briefly)...doing the local news/weather inserts during NPR's "Weekend Edition", on 1290/102.7 WRNI.

And now...we return you to the market's regularly scheduled boredom... ;)
 
Glenn just finished writing another book. And he has a book signing scheduled soon(at a major bookstore). I know this is not a radio
comment. But WPRI should bring him back on a p/t basis.

Arguably, this was a moment of local baseball history...or at least hope, chronicled for ABC News by Glenn.

I taped this on VHS from WKBW-TV7/Buffalo, when I spent a year there, at my last full-time on-air gig, afternoon drive on the late, great WKBW, and homesick-AS-HELL to get back to The Great Ocean State.
