GLOBAL AND SHAW MERGER

With a merger of Shaw Communications and CanWest Global. Will there be any anti-trust between these two companies. If the merger goes thru, I'm afraid that Shaw will dominate the media player in the west.

I wouldn't use "merger".
Shaw is BUYING Canwest Global and The late great Mr. Asper is rolling in his grave!

CanwestGlobal was going bankrupt. The newspaper division goes to Torstar (owner of Toronto Star and other fine newspapers)

Kevin Newman does his last Global National newscast at the end of August.
