It sounds like Hot 97.5 has some new sweepers.  One with a snippet of Calvin Harris's "Feel So Close" mixed into it, another claiming they are "Hot 97.5 The Hit Music Channel", "Arizona's New Hit Music Channel" and "Mixing the Valley's New Hit Music Channel".

So it appears that the Elvis Duran morning show is going bye-bye.

They also have "We no speak Americano" in regular rotation, amongst other things... Wouldn't be surprised if the new Ne-yo (f/ Calvin Harris) is added.

I love the new promos, as I've mentioned earlier. It's so funny how a few minor changes can change the entire overall image and feel about a radio station! At first, they were sounding like a basic, mediocre, and "small station". Now they sound like a "real" and BIG station! The average listener tuning in now wouldn't be able to tell whether or not Hot 97.5 was owned by "the big dogs". I remember some weeks ago, asking a question that no one was able to directly answer, basically asking "If ratings and other things of that nature are important, then why don't stations try to do the best they can ALL the time? Why are there times when a PD and / or MD act like they don't seriously care for their station, seemingly slack off and continue to choose to not improve even when it's apparent that ratings aren't improving? And why does it seem like some stations react quicker than others when they see things are going array?

With that being said, I wonder; How come it had to take THIS LONG for somebody to have the freedom to step up and change things at Hot? What's the point of continuing to do anything in life that's not working and refusing change? Anyway, no point in Armchair Quarterbacking when what I wanted to happen and have suggested finally happened. Let me just be grateful. 

I enjoy the Elvis Duran show - I'll miss it. However, it apparently doesn't bring ratings (or it seems). It's even the weakest part of daytime ratings on WWVA-FM...

Another KZZP KZON ???

Nope, not the same. I can see how it would appear to be the same at surface level upon first glance, but KMVA is definitely not "Another KZZP KZON", although the resemblance can be uncanny. KZON itself isn't the same as KZZP, although KZZP and KZON do some things that KMVA doesn't do (which is what makes KMVA stand out). However, I still say KZON, overall, is the better station - IF I had to pick only one to keep. For those who like old school and hip hop from the late 90's through 00's, KMVA probably wouldn't be your desired choice... And speaking of KZZP, they FINALLY put Baka Boyz All Star Hit Mix on Friday Nights! I almost gave up on suggesting that that move should've been made. If only I could copyright every idea I present and sue when it unfolds... I'd have enough money to solve the entire government budget deficit.
