Naturally the Globe is going to print this story, as it only benefits their version of radio... RadioBDC.

Most of the audience is still on FM/AM. Limited bandwidth plans now offered by the cellular companies will force a lot of people back there. Are you going to chew up all of your data on something you can hear without doing that?

maybe but mine is unlimited even if it is a virgin mobile cheapie..unless there's some kind of data I build up as part of it.

BDC is worst of all worlds - requires network connectivity (expensive when mobile), and isnt random access and listener-active (youtube, soundcloud).
