Globe: Red Sox, Yankee Radio Networks

just me or 103.7 has no crowd audio mixed in, where 96.3 and .85 do?

can the NESN announcs be picked up with a radio ? the guy was different than TV

I think that gray space between Worcester & Springfield would be filled in if the Sox were still on 560 & 580! It'd be nice if they were still on 630 too.

As I mentioned in comments at one time Yanks were on the AM 1170 on Cape Cod. Now that's non-comm and part of WUMB network.

That rather surprises me since 1170 is a daytimer. Most of the games must have been missed, since they usually take place in the evening.

yes, this was awhile back and prob just weekend/day games (or occasional "getaway days" during the wk). Try to recall call letters etc

1170AM used to be the sister station of 104.7FM on the Cape in 70s and 80s. Wish Sox games were in stereo like Bruins and Pats on 98.5 FM

They can't pick up WTIC (1080) from Hartford in that area?

What about WCRN-AM 830?

I'm hearing plenty of crowd noise on 103.7 WEEI-FM. It's the same mono feed everybody else is using, you couldn't remove the crowd noise even if you wanted to.

I don't know what signal level they used in drawing their map but there's a definite gray area between Worcester & Springfield.
