Globe: WNSH running women's network

http://www.boston.com/ae/tv/articles/2006/10/19/greenstone_aims_to_give_women_different_voices/

Clea Simon writes that GreenStone Media (Gloria Steinem, Jane Fonda, etc.) began offering programming (a
female-based talk network) last month and can be heard on WNSH in Beverly

"WNSH, which broadcasts with only 500 watts, had formerly carried other syndicated talk, such as the conservative shows that the station now broadcasts at night. But owner Jack White is happy with the GreenStone shows."

(Jack White? did Keating Willcox sell? actually I think White may be the station mgr., not owner.
More accuracy from the Globe...?)

more details on WNSH's (mostly) female-talk format at http://www.wnsh.com

weekdays
Radio Ritas 6-9
Laura Ingraham 9-12 (same as before; conservative host from TRN not Greenstone)
Rolanda Watts 12-3
Women Aloud 3 - 6
Michael Reagan 6-9
Radio America shows until dawn

>>Talk Radio by Women, for Women
Except for Reagan and Doyle...

All of those shows are syndicated. WNSH does have some local content on the weekends including
Doug Mascott Tracks of the Town (local rock), Antonio's Radio Ministrone (standards/Italian singers)
and Portuguese music. Other weekend shows are more conservative talk from TRN and Radio America.
