Some would say it is the Punch Shultzberger connection with the Globe and the Boston Red Sox that is bringing the "Globies" to WRKO.

Maybe this Punch Shultzberger guy does have some influence, whoever he is. However, Pinch Sulzberger, the CEO of The New York Times, doesn't. He doesn't own WRKO and therefore has nothing to say about its programming.

Well, IF O'Reilly stays, I can see a current 12-3 show that will be on the chopping block...again...and there won't be a shortened 10-12 slot to save them this time either

"Pinch" is a nickname and should have been in quotes. His full name is Arthur Ochs Sulzberger, Jr. The etymology of the nicknames is that his father, Arthur Ochs Sulzberger, was nicknamed "Punch" as a child, to match his sister Judith ("Judy"..."Punch" and "Judy"...get it?). Thus, his son was "Pinch" (a little "Punch"...something lost in translation, I think).
