GMAZ: Are they trying to push Tess out?

I figured this needed its own thread. I'm getting increasingly concerned that GMAZ is trying to push Tess out in favor of Simone. This morning, they did a segment with Scott and Simone on one sofa with the guest and Tess on the other sofa. Simone seemed to have a larger role in the whole segment than Tess did. And, of course, Simone was giggling hysterically most of the time and Scott was egging her on.

For those old enough to remember the the Today show fiasco, this reminds me of the Jane Pauley-Deborah Norville situation. I might also add that this is how they treated Tara as well at the end of her reign on GMAZ.

Hmmm... And with Tess being off on Friday 1/9/26 and Simone taking her spot: throwing another log on the fire.

I think I saw the segment: a doctor was busting medical myths? I haven't noticed any shifts in the Matrix. Simone can be not-serious but when she needs to, she comes across as credible.

When Tara left, she was hard to watch. I wrote on this board when Kaley O'Kelley jumped from ABC15 and joined GMAZ, Tara should watch her back because Kaley is younger and a triple threat (news, traffic, weather).

Yes, that was the segment. My thoughts were the following: Why on earth would you separate the main anchors and why was Simone there? What did Simone add to the conversation that Scott and Tess didn't/couldn't? If this segment had aired today (Friday 1/9), would they have had Colton in the interview?

If Cuccurullo and Pasmore keep smiling on camera, it'll be all over for GMAZ sooner than later.

Remember, those two look like they're passing gas every time they're on air together. Given that, viewers will eventually demand that 3TV keep Rafols. :sneaky:
