I really like Olivia Fiero. I think that she's a great weekend host.

However, I can't stand several of the "rotating" news anchors. I had to change the channel this morning when Carey Pena did the news. She sounds like my teenage niece and, furthermore, somebody needs to give her speech lessons. Kim Martinez is only marginally better.

The new reporter, Courtney Zabowski, does an excellent job and should be named permanent news anchor. Scott McGhee and Antwan Lewis also do a fine job. I would really like to see one of these named permanent weekend co-anchor.

In fact, Courtney would be a perfect weekend pm co-anchor with Frank. Then, pair Scott with Olivia on Saturdays and Antwan with Olivia on Sundays (or vice-versa).

What does everyone else think??
 
Carey Pena has improved vastly since she started at 3-TV. I agree that she does need to improve her delivery. Kim Martinez seems to go up and down. Sometimes she does a great job and other times you would think it was her first day on camera. Courtney, Tess Rafaols, Scott McGee and Antwan all do a great job both in the field and at the desk.

The weekend evening shows are puzzling. Frank Camacho and Kim Dillon anchored that for a long time, with Kim doubling up to do the weather. The search for a replacement for Kim in the weather segment seems to have failed. The three wannabes were not impressive. Erika Monroe Williams does a fair job with the weekend weather so why not have her co-anchor the news with Frank...after all that's what she used to do?
