Well tonight is the big night, WHIO will carry UD vs North Carolina in the NIT final game. Larry and Bucky will be all jacked up and Flyer nation will be ready to light up the sofas in the UD ghetto if their team wins. That will be covered by WHIO news. Of course that brings to mind all the old NIT jokes.

Winning the NIT is like being valedictorian at summer school!

But hey, what other Dayton/Cincinnati/Ohio/Kentucky team is still playiing on April Fool's Day? Bring that trophy home to Dayton! It's the one inscribed "peel adhesive covering from bottom and mount on dashboard". ;D
 
But, still and yet, it's better than being number 366!

And...should they be successful...it would be the first time the Flyers have done it since 1968.

Sometimes it's good to celebrate the small things.

YES!!! Now we have to answer the question, was it the black uniforms? And if this turns out to be the final NIT the Dayton Flyers will become a classic trivia question answer! Larry and Bucky even got their call featured on ESPN Radio Spotscenter, so even rival WING had them on the air. I'll bet Dan Patrick is proud. ;D
