From AllAccess.com:

WXRG Flips To Classic Hits As WHGO "Go-FM"

At 5p, TRIAD Classic Rock WXRG/GULFPORT-BILOXI, MS flipped to Classic Hits as WHGO (105.9 GO-FM) after a day of stunting with FLEETWOOD MAC's "Go Your Own Way" on a loop. WAYNE WATKINS remains as PD, and the "JOHN BOY & BILLY" show segues to sister Classic Country WUJM (96.7 HANK-FM). WHGO, which will run jockless for the time being, is voiced by RICH VAN SLYKE.

Are they positioning it as "Classic Top 40?" This format intrigues me a great deal. IF it's done the RIGHT WAY (energy and live personalities who know and "get" the music), there is huge potential. If not (voicetracking and sweepers), it will die a premature death as did "The Greatest Hits of the Seventies" 10 years ago.

105.9 is only 25kW. The lower power is required due to 106.1/Picayune.

Anyone know what happened to Erica Foxx? Hope she survived the format change & at least was able to transfer to another station in the cluster (?)

I have an internet station called GoFM that has been broadcasting for four years. Though not federally registered, I believe I have a trademark on the use of GoFM as a broadcasting outlet.
