Goal! Rob Stone Leaves ESPN For Fox Sports

Looks like Fox has a strategy to start airing soccer on their stations beyond Fox Soccer and Fox Soccer Plus.
I notice that on weeks when they don't have the NFL doubleheader they are airing replays of English Premiere
League games on Fox broadcast TV. Will that actually work in this country?

I presume this guy is not the same Rob Stone who played Bob Uecker's son on Mr. Belvedere?

Considering how bad the programming is on non-NFL Sundays on Fox affiliates, I welcome anything besides either the poorly edited syndicated movie packages they throw on now or yet another extreme sports circuit which only exists to fill time and maybe put the stadium concession stands in the black (NBC/Mountain Dew's Alli circuit is so awful there isn't even a Wikipedia article for it besides the ones Alli's SEO company tried to foist on them before they were all deleted for sounding like they were indeed, written by a buzzword-happy teenager).

Eventually it has to catch on one day, and NBC's interest in MLS can only make that league better now that ESPN will be out of it.

I've never been a soccer fan, but must admit to being sucked into watching the Sunday morning
EPL matches on ESPN2 and Fox Soccer. The game is played at such a high level there that you
really have to admire the skill and athleticism. I suppose they are hoping that spreads.
