Goin' For Younger Demos, Eh?

Excerpted from the Biz Journal article:

Business Journal Circulation Director Paul Sanders said the partnership
is likely to be expanded beyond KFYI.

“The partnership brings together the Valley’s No.1 source of local
business news with the Valley’s No. 1 radio station,” Sanders said.

Yo, Biz Journalistas--you should have updated that quote before
going to press, as you had to admit later in the story that 55/FYI
fell to #2 in September...and now also (#2, P6+) in October.

Smart move by KTAR to dump them. I always thought business journal reports were snoozers.

At least the Biz Journal reports were lively and tailored to Phoenix. Bloomberg business updates sound like they're phoned in. I think the teleprompter could read it better.

And in 25-54, KFYI is reported not even in the top 10, while KTAR-Fm is in the top 5. That's all that matters.
