I like others, value the posts here from people who know what they are talking about....suffice it to say there are many opinions, and ways of interpreting the FCC rules and I doubt that not one of us may agree as to what they actually mean......................................................................No matter what happens, I really don't see the end of part 15am soon, or in the long term........please allow me to explain what I meant in an earlier post about "leaving the business".............................first off, I believe thru my posts that I've taught a lot of people how to do about what I do right now............what that amounts to is that I get less business if "they" will build it themselves.........overall that is ok;..the antenna itself is pretty easy to build and that is what I want to get out of....building and shipping that is not very profitable to me at all......what I want to concentrate on is coils and ground systems, and as far as I can see, those are the parts that most people have difficulty building correctly.....plus, financially, it kind of makes sense to buy these items from me because I buy these parts in bulk......to build one is very expensive especially if it has to be done several times to do it correctly.........I'm kind of surprised at some of the posts though; ...coils wound with speaker wire; I tried that and it didn't work, but then I tried a lot of things that didn't work too........point is: I wanted to get away from "marketing" my part 15am supplies, not exactly knock off building them......for this fall, I'll have about 10 brand new coils available if wanted (building with what I have on hand) and I would never deny anyone who needed me to build a system for them at all........but I won't participate in the "but this, but that" bickering over what is legal and what is allowed......it has been proven that what the kit manufacturers do and what I do is legal cause if it wasn't, I wouldn't be doing this at all!!!!....................soon, Steve at RadioBrandy will be opening up a part 15 store (something he has been considering for over a year) and I'm sure I'll be suppling him with parts next year.......so if you plan to buy from Steve, you will most likely get a CARLCOIL!! (hheheheh!!)......but if you do choose to go on air soon, I will continue to have the parts to help you do that, I just won't be talking about it after this post.....and if you think I'm not there for you when you email me for help, ask just about anyone on this board if I didn't go out of my way to be helpful, even at the expense of not getting a sale!!!..............to ALL, I say, GET ON THE AIR!!...MAKE A DIFFERENCE AND SERVE YOUR [email protected]<P ID="signature">______________
