Going viral wth Twitter

The "next big thing" seems to be Twitter at http://twitter.com.

Last week's hotel construction, KPBS news used Twitter to get eye-witness remarks. As noted in today's SDRadio:

San Diego broadcast media using Twitter include:
KPBS 89.5 “KPBSNews”
San Diego Jack 100.7 FM “Jack_FM”
Radio Sophie 103.7 FM “RadioSophie”
760 KFMB 760 AM “760kfmb”
KGTV-TV 10 “10News”

Some accounts are merely placeholders, but KPBS, San Diego Jack and Radio Sophie use the service. KPBS' approach is more two way (based on the interaction I've had).

My twitter handle is obvious .... Thanks for reading.
