Gois Broadcasting

I asked this on the Connecticut board and got no response, so I'm also posting here since stations in both Boston and Hartford are involved.

Is Gois Broadcasting consolidating their radio stations? I already know La Mega Boston (94.9/890) and La Mega Lawrence (95.1/1400) operate out of the Worcester studios of La Mega Worcester (106.1/1310) and they simulcast some programs across the 3 stations, but are they now running the same programming on all their La Mega Stations?

The other day I was listening to La Mega Hartford (101.7/910) and I heard this legal ID at 1PM:

"This is La Mega New England. WAMG Dedham, WLLH Lawrence, WORC Worcester, WLAT New Britain."

Previously La Mega Hartford had been live and local 10AM-3PM with their Music Director "The Bad Boy" Richie Rich.

That sounds like a reasonable approach.

The bulk of the Hispanic audience in that area is from PR and the Dominican Republic. In both of those places, networked radio is very common. In Puerto Rico, for example, all the top 10 radio operations are networks of 3 to 5 stations covering the whole island. So that listening group is very used to the network concept and it is not negative in any way.
